RE: Bay Area Natural Hair Event

Hello everyone,

This past weekend I attended the Natural Selection Bay Area Summer Curlabration event. And it was a lot of fun. I meet some beautiful women that are natural, and women that where transitioning, that came for advice and inspiration. See below for pictures from the event: This first picture is of myself with Cassidy, the creator of Natural Selection Blog and the person that put the gathering together. The event took place at a restaurant in San Francisco, CA.

I received an email from the beautiful model - Danielle Desiree.  And she had this to say about her natural hair:

"I have been natural for just about 2 years now, and I am loving my journey. It has not been the easiest journey, but I've yet to hear about any easy journey. After years of weave, my decision to go natural was simple...I wanted to wear the hair God gave me. I will never go back to relaxers. Our hair is too beautiful to break down. Goapele's New Website

For all of my fellow Goapele fan's.... Goapele (pronounced Gwa-pa-lay) as updated her website and it's worth checking out.
